Welcome to Bluemari’s Retreat, an idyllic accommodation located in a lush and green setting, surrounded by nature.

Bluemari’s Retreat offers its guests 4 individual deluxe rooms and suites. Each room has been lovingly designed and functionally furnished. The names are inspired by the unique wallpapers by Robin Sprong, a multi-award-winning wallpaper studio and South Africa’s leading customised wallpaper and surface design company.
Sustainability was considered from the outset when renovating the house. Our water comes from our own borehole and is treated to drinking water quality. A solar power inverter with battery storage was installed to ensure independence from temporary power outages (load shedding). The pool is heated exclusively by solar panels. A free charging station for electric vehicles is also available to our guests. For security reasons, the guest car parks are behind closed gates. The site is also under 24-hour camera surveillance and connected to a security monitoring service.
Our Retreat is a place where people can meet and share their experiences. All guests have access to the communal areas of the house which include the dining room where breakfast is served, living room, library, courtyard lounges, and the pool. On days with ideal weather, the Rooftop Bar offering spectacular views of the bay and surrounding mountains will be open for a sundowner.
The minibar will be replenished daily with mineral water and milk. Furthermore, there is a house bar which is regularly stocked with drinks which works by the honesty principle – you note what you consume. Ask the hosts, should you have any specific wishes or need supplementary items. All consumptions will be charged to the room bill.
